We are excited to announce the forthcoming launch of the Radioxity Stop Motion Armature Kit, Africa’s first, locally manufactured, studio-grade precision armature system built from stainless steel and machined brass blocks with silver-soldered construction. The kit includes a fully assembled armature, rigging arm, spare joints, and a beginner’s assembly and maintenance guide — designed for animators, film studios, and educational programmes.
“After months of prototyping and testing, we designed a robust, repairable, and locally assembled armature that meets the demands of professional stop-motion production,” says Esther Kemi Gbadamosi, Creative Director at Radioxity Media.
“Our armature uses machined brass blocks for universal joints, silver-soldered stainless steel balls seated dynamically in brass sockets to deliver required tension, long life, and reliable motion.”
Radioxity is producing an initial run of 50 kits by November 2025 and offer local repair & upgrade services. Samples are available for review and demo.
From a pioneering space of stop motion animated films in Nigeria, this symbolizes breaking more ground for stop motion in Africa.
We invite you to partner, support or collaborate with us as we expand the frontiers of stop motion in Nigeria, Africa and the world as a collective.
